Background
At Media Cause we deal with a huge range of clients from big to small, from California to nationwide. We wanted to create a way to provide emerging nonprofits a collection of results-driven digital marketing services — thus Rise was born.
Research
We had positive feedback about the idea and wanted to see the traction a landing page would get.
Design Process
Since we had a set of services we offer we wanted a custom set of badges to match. As I built these badges I explored many different shapes, sizes, and color palette. Ultimately we landed on using varying colors from our own palette with different shaped badges for different groups of offerings.
The landing page design was a bit more straightforward. We wire-framed out the basic structure of the page and I built it in Unbounce since it is a low-cost way to test. This helped us limit our build time and see what changes looked like in real-time.

This page structure allowed us to introduce Rise and our services without any noise.
Final Outcome
Since Rise launched we have had a great response. The page is currently averaging a 20% conversion rate, which is amazing and speaks volumes for service offerings like this.
Learnings
Testing ideas is a great way to stay fresh in the industry. Using tools like Unbounce save time and money when you are trying other verticals. Growth marketing design like this is a way to quickly learn what works and doesn’t work.
